About This Course

In an education landscape where rote memorization is traditionally the norm, Project Ianos seeks to blaze a different path—we encourage students to become explorers. It is through the lens of curiosity and discovery that we introduce students to those on the frontlines of NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Engaging videos hosted by world-renowned explorer and award-winning television presenter Josh Bernstein highlight the past, present, and future of human spaceflight. Standards-aligned activities bridge classroom learning with real-world context,  inviting students to complete Expeditions and Missions inspired by those videos. As a result, Project Ianos creates a connection between the students of today and the jobs of tomorrow, igniting passions and laying foundations for a strong and diverse future workforce.
